In the morning sitting I addressed the "gift" presented to me at Guitar Craft's Tuesday night dinner in NJ.

On Saturday Toyah & I set off for London with just enough petrol in her car to make it. The first garage we passed, our local 2 miles from home, was open: a delivery had arrived that morning. So we filled up and set off, relieved. The photographer for "Hello" had invited us to dinner with his wife, a well known English actress Amanda Burton, & two of their friends. This was most generous; a wonderful final evening for the Horse & I for a while.
Laurie Small, tour manager to the stars, collected me from Chiswick on Sunday at 08.20 & delivered me with ticket plus new passport to Heathrow. An uneventful journey to Nashville. Awaiting me: the new Roland VG88 and GR33.
